2006–07 English Premiership (rugby union)

The 2006/07 season of the English Premier League was the 20th season of the top flight of English rugby union championship. For sponsorship reasons it was called Guinness Premiership. It began on September 2, 2006, included 22 game days (one forward and reverse turn) and lasted until 28 April 2007. Subsequently, the top four teams qualified for the semi-finals, the semi-final winners meet in the final on 12 May 2007 in Twickenham Stadium each other. The league title won for the seventh time, the Leicester Tigers, Northampton Saints had to descend.

Play-off

National Division One

The season of second division ( National Division One) comprised 30 game days (one forward and reverse round). The best-placed team, the Leeds Tykes, were promoted to the Premiership. Two teams were relegated to National Division Two, Otley RUFC and Waterloo RFC.
