2009–10 Scottish Challenge Cup
The Scottish League Challenge Cup was played for the 19th time in 2009/10. The Scottish Football competition, which was officially discharged as ALBA Challenge Cup began on 25 July 2009 and ended with the final on 22 November 2009. Titleholder was Airdrie United won last year in the final against Ross County. At the competition the clubs in the Scottish Football League participated. In the final between FC Dundee and Inverness Caledonian Thistle Dundee was the second time after 1991 to win the title.
