2009 British Touring Car Championship season
The 52nd British Touring Car Championship 2009 began on 4 April at Brands Hatch and ended on October 4, also at Brands Hatch.
As early as 2008 there was the 2009 season from ten race weekends with three races. Defending champion Fabrizio Giovanardi was the Italian. After a total of 30 races won Colin Turkington (BMW 320si E90) ahead of Jason Plato ( Chevrolet Lacetti ) and Fabrizio Giovanardi ( Vauxhall Vectra VXR ). Winning the Constructors' Championship was Vauxhall.
