2009 Città di Como Challenger

The Torneo Internazionale Città di Como Challenger 2009 was the fourth edition of the tennis tournament at Challenger level in Como, Italy. It was held from 31st August to 6 September 2009 as part of the ATP Challenger Tour in 2009 and was held outdoors on clay court.

Winners in each of the seven was Alexander Dolgopolov, the unseeded Juan- Martin Aranguren the defeated at position in the final in straight sets. Dolgopolov remained so throughout the whole tournament without dropping a set. Last year's winner Diego Junqueira not stepped up to defend their title. In the double set at position four Crugnola Marco and Alessandro Motti won the final against the position Treat Conrad Huey higher rated and Harsh Mankad. Here was last year's winners Mariano Hood and Alberto Martín were not more this year.

The field of the individual competition consisted of 32 players, double that of the competition from 16 pairs. Ahead there was a cancellation due to injury in the doubles competition. Pedro Clar - Rosello could not compete with his partner Malek Jaziri due to an injury to the left ankle. For them, the subsequent individual winner Alexander Dolgopolov played with in the doubles competition with Andrei Gorban.
