2011 Leopard Trek season
This article lists the team Leopard Trek cycling team in the 2011 season and successes.
The team played with the Tour Down Under in January 2011 the first race. At first win but the team had to wait until March, when the German Dominic terminal surprisingly won the Belgian one-day race Le Samyn for themselves.
On 9 May 2011 the Belgian rider Wouter Weylandt Flemish crashed during the Giro d' Italia in the descent of the " Passo del Bocco ", around 25 kilometers from the finish of stage 3 in Rapallo and still died at the accident site. Two days later, left the entire team the Giro.
At the Tour de France the team though could not bring the hoped-for victory, with Andy Schleck in second place and Fränk Schleck in third place overall achieved a decent result.
