2011 Premier League Darts
The 888.com Premier League Darts 2011 was part of a series of tournaments of the Professional Darts Corporation ( PDC). It was held from 10 February to 19 May 2011. The 14 round match days were Thursday held on 10 February 2011 to 12 May 2011. The play-offs were held on 19 May at Wembley Arena.
On German television, the Premier League 2011 was broadcast live on Sport 1. The pay- TV channel Sport 1 showed the game live days and complete.
Prizes
A total of £ 400,000 were played in prize money.
- Winner: £ 125,000
- Second Runners-up: £ 65,000
- 3rd place: 50,000 GBP
- 4th place: 40,000 GBP
- 5th place: 32,500 GBP
- 6th place: 30,000 GBP
- 7th place: 27,500 GBP
- 8th place: 25,000 GBP
- Highest Finish ( per Round ): £ 1,000
Qualification
For the Premier League, the four top-ranked players in the Order of Merit were qualified. In addition, four wild cards were awarded by the PDC and the British TV channel Sky Sports. Players in detail (in brackets the OoM placement before the start of the tournament ):

Competition mode
The eight players meet each successive twice. The matches will be played " Best of 14 " mode in one and are terminated as soon as one player has won 8 legs. The Premier League will be held at 14 games, with the four top-ranked players qualify for the play-off semi-finals.
