2012–13 Ascenso MX season
The 2012/13 season is the fourth season since the founding of the Liga de Ascenso, the second football league in Mexico. Compared to the previous season following changes took place: the overall champion and Erstligaaufsteiger Leon left the league for sporting reasons as well as the excluded already in the winter break of the preseason CF Indios due to high liabilities. A new addition is the Erstligaabsteiger the preseason, Estudiantes Tecos. There was not promoted from Liga or relegated to the Segunda third-rate.
The launching with 15 teams season 2012/13 started on Friday, 20 June 2012, at the interactions between Necaxa and the Lobos BPRD (3:1 ) and the Correcaminos UAT and Cruz Azul Hidalgo (3-0). Further, in the third encounter came Erstligaabsteiger Estudiantes private place not go beyond a 0-0 draw against Irapuato.
At the end of the season the CF La Piedad was promoted to the first division and there would be allowed to play in the 2013/14 season, the rise of permission but sold to the league rivals CD Veracruz, which will instead perceive the rise.
