2012 Tour of Turkey

The 48th Tour of Turkey ( Presidential Cycling Tour of Turkey ) was held to 29 April 2012 from April 22. The cycling stage race was part of the UCI Europe Tour 2012, in which it was classified in the highest category 2.HC, and was discharged in eight stages with a total of 1172.7 km.

The overall winner was the first Bulgarian Ivaylo Gabrowski, who drove for the Turkish Cycling Team Konya Torku Şeker Spor - Vivelo honored. Later it became known that his A sample tested positive after the third stage, which he also won on the doping agent erythropoietin. Gabrovski was disqualified and the other drivers moved in each case to a court. New overall winner was Alexander Dyachenko so from Astana Pro Team.
