2014 Qatar Total Open

The Qatar Total Open in 2014 were a professional women's tennis tournament in the Premier 5 category, and therefore part of the WTA Tour in 2014. It took place between 10 and 16 February 2014 International Tennis and Squash Complex in Doha, Qatar, and was the twelfth edition of the tournament.

The title Defend ring in individual Wiktoryja Azarenka could just as the world number one Serena Williams and world number three Maria Sharapova because of an injury does not participate in the tournament. The victory secured the Romanian Simona Halep with a final victory over Angelique Kerber. Halep won in Doha her seventh WTA title overall and her first Premier5 title on the tour.

The title in a double secured the pairing Hsieh Su -wei and Peng Shuai. Shuai Peng to Doha was the first Asian world number one in double and first Asian to ever, ever out at the top of the tennis world rankings.
