2015 FIFA Women's World Cup qualification

The qualification for the FIFA Women's World Cup 2015 will be held in the years 2013 and 2014. The reported national teams play to 23 places available. The field is completed by the host Canada.

On 11 June 2012, the FIFA Executive Committee approved the allocation of the 24 starting positions in the six continental federations:

  • UEFA (Europe): 8 students
  • CAF (Africa): 3 students
  • AFC (Asia ): 5 participants
  • OFC ( Oceania ): 1 participant
  • CONMEBOL (South America ): 2 or 3 participants
  • CONCACAF ( North and Central America and the Caribbean): 3 or 4 participants without host Canada

European Zone / UEFA

Mode

To take part in the qualifying matches 46 of the 53 UEFA member associations have announced their national team. With Albania, the Faroe Islands and Montenegro take three countries for the first time participated in a World Cup qualifier. First, a ranking list was created for the registered teams. The games will take place from 20 September 2013, and should be completed by September 17, 2014. The seven group winners qualify automatically for the finals. Group 1

African Zone / CAF

The African continental federation CAF determines its participants at the African Cup of Nations 2014. The tournament will be held in Namibia in October 2014. 25 teams had registered for the qualification for the final round of the participating hosts Namibia next seven other teams.
