Administrative divisions of Irkutsk Oblast
The Irkutsk Oblast in the Siberian federal district of the Russian Federation is divided into 33 Rajons and 9 urban districts. The Rajons are a total of 68 urban and 356 rural municipalities assumed (as of 2010).
Six of the Rajons made up to 31 December 2007 an independent federal subject, the autonomous district of Ust- Ordynsker Buryats. Also, since their connection to the Irkutsk Oblast possess these territories under this name a special status within the oblast ( in the table with a gray background ).
