Alabama State Route 53

The Alabama State Route 53 (abbreviated AL 53 ) is a state highway in the U.S. state of Alabama, which runs in a north -south direction.

The State Route begins at Florida State Road 71 between Cottonwood and Malone on the border with Florida. After 556 kilometers west of Ardmore it ends at Interstate 65 and U.S. Highway 31, the road splits between the cities of Dothan and Huntsville, the route with U.S. Highway 231 In this section, it is not excellent addition to the U.S. 231.

In Ardmore State Route runs along the border between the states of Alabama and Tennessee. This street is therefore referred to as State Line Road. Between Ardmore and I- 65, AL 53 continues to lead parallel to the border for four kilometers.
