Alan Carvalho

Alan Douglas Borges de Carvalho ( * July 10, 1989 in Barbosa ), player name Alan, is a Brazilian footballer. The striker is since 2010 the Austrian club FC Red Bull Salzburg under contract.

Club career

Alan began his career with Guarani FC in Campinas. At age 16, he moved to Londrina EC, for the already Giovane Élber had played. 2008 Fluminense noticed him and signed him. In Rio de Janeiro he drew attention to himself with gates. In the summer of 2010 he went to Europe and signed with FC Red Bull Salzburg.

Under coach Huub Stevens he came only a few uses; that changed as Ricardo Moniz 's new coach was. In the Bundesliga game against SK Sturm Graz at the UPC - Arena, he scored all three goals in a 3-0 victory. In the last six games of the 2010/11 season he scored nine goals.

In the championship game against SK Rapid Vienna on 28 August 2011, he suffered 92 minutes a tear of the anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee. Eleven months later, on 31 June 2012, he got back to team training. However, it was followed by other therapies in Germany and the U.S., as the injury was still not completely healed. With the beginning of the year 2013 he got back completely in the team training, and scored three goals in the first three test matches. In the autumn of 2013/14 season he scored 12 goals in the league and was together with Jonathan Soriano 's top scorer of the Red Bulls.

National

Last Alan was in the squad of the Brazilian U-20 national team.

In November 2013 were discussed in the Austrian media, if Alan could play for the Austrian national team in the future.
