Aleutians West Census Area, Alaska

The Aleutians West Census Area is a census area in the U.S. state of Alaska. It comprises the western Aleutian Islands of Attu in the west to Unalaska in the east and the north of the Aleutian Pribilof Islands located.

In 2010, the population was 5,561. Aleutians West part of the Unorganized Borough and thus has no headquarters. The Census Area has an area of 36,562 km ², of which 11,388 km ² to 25,174 km ² land and on water. The largest city in the region is Unalaska.
