Valdezâ€“Cordova Census Area, Alaska
The Valdez - Cordova Census Area is a census area in the U.S. state of Alaska. It extends from the Prince William Sound along the coast of the Gulf of Alaska to the border with the Yukon Territory and includes the delta of the Copper River.
In 2010, the population was 9,636. Valdez - Cordova is part of the Unorganized Borough and thus has no headquarters. The Census Area has an area of 104,115 km ², of which 88,886 km ² to 15,229 km ² land and on water. The largest city in the region is Valdez.
