Alexander Nikulin (ice hockey)

Alexander Sergeyevich Nikulin (Russian Александр Сергеевич Никулин; born August 25, 1985 in Perm, Russian SFSR ) is a Russian professional ice hockey player who plays for Spartak Moscow HK in the Kontinental Hockey League since May 2013.

Career

Alexander Nikulin began his career in 2003 at HK CSKA Moscow, where he was until 2007 under contract. NHL Entry Draft 2004 Ottawa Senators chose him in the fourth round of the 122nd place. In the 2007 /08 season, the striker completed two NHL games with the Ottawa Senators. In the next season, the Russian was 1 times for the Phoenix Coyotes on the ice. From 2007 to 2009, he was most often used in the North American farm team. Thus, he decided in 2009 to return to Russia to HK CSKA Moscow. In September 2010, the Center moved to league rivals Amur Khabarovsk.

In October 2012 Nikulin was delivered to the HK Sibir Novosibirsk in exchange for Andrei Stepanov and Mikhail Fissenko. For Sibir, he completed 43 KHL games in which he scored 17 points scorer, before transferring after the season to HK Spartak Moscow.

Internationally

With the Russian national Alexander Nikulin took part in the U20 World Youth Championship in 2005. In a total of six world deployments of the Russian scored two points scorer.
