The Almería (Spanish: Aeropuerto de Almería ) Airport is an international airport in the province of Almería (Spain ) in the south of the Iberian Peninsula. It is located about 10 km outside the city of Almería at the Gulf in the region of Andalusia.
Importance
Most visitors to the Costa del Sol to use the airports of Alicante and Málaga. In the passenger statistics of all Spanish Airports Are for the Almería Airport 1.02 million passengers listed. On the rankings of the Airports Andalusia it is thus to Malaga, Seville, Granada - Jaén Jerez and in fifth place in front of Córdoba.
Approach
Line 20 (Almería - Alquián ) of the Company Surbus serving the airport. By car it is about the Airport Shuttle AL- 12 to the west Autovia del Mediterráneo coming from the A-7. This leads further north in the region of Murcia. The approximately 160 km from Granada can be reached via the A-92 by car in about 2 hours.
Objectives
Iberia connects the airport with Madrid, Barcelona, Melilla, the small enclave on the African continent. Ryanair and Easyjet connect the Airport with several European destinations, including Ryanair flies twice a week from March to October to Weeze. Another German Association holds Air Berlin Flights to Palma de Mallorca to Dusseldorf. Furthermore, the second largest German airline associated with stop at the airport of Palma de Mallorca targets in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
