Andreas Bergmann ( born June 18, 1959 in Steinfeld ) is a former German football player and current coach.

Playing career

Andreas Bergmann played from 1982 to 1989 in the highest German Amateur League, the Football Oberliga Nordrhein, for the clubs first FC Cologne, Wuppertal SV, Bonner SC and VfB Remscheid.

Coaching career

Bergmann has a degree in sports and football coach. As a physical education teacher, he was from 1989 to 1994 at SV Falcon Steinfeld and from 1994 to 1997 worked at the Lower Saxony Football Association. From 1997 to 2001 he worked as a youth coordinator at Karlsruher SC. From 2001 to 2004 Bergmann was the responsible youth coordinator and coach of the amateur team of FC St. Pauli. On March 29, 2004, he took the same club, the first team from redundant Franz Gerber. After North he remained four games without a win in the regional league, he was released on 20 November 2006 of its function.

On 1 July 2007 Bergmann took over the U23 team of Hannover 96 and also became athletic director of the youth training center.
