Andrew Ogilvy
Andrew James " AJ " Ogilvy ( born June 17, 1988 in Sydney, New South Wales ) is an Australian- Irish basketball player. After studying in the United States Ogilvy played professionally in Europe so far. In the National Basketball League 2012/13 played the Australian national team for the former German double winners Brose Baskets Bamberg. Plan for the next season, he has signed a contract with the Sydney Kings in his native country.
Career
Ogilvy went in 2007 to study in the United States at the Vanderbilt University in Nashville (Tennessee). There he played for the Commodores college team in the Southeastern Conference (SEC), the NCAA. The Commodores got Ogilvy as " freshman " directly use much time, as the Commodores had few alternatives to the long positions in " frontcourt ", and was soon regarded as a possible "Draft Pick" of the doped at the highest professional league NBA. Ogilvy was, however, only used in six European games, with an average operating time of over 15 minutes per game and did not come after the quarter-finals for use.
