Anton Shipulin

Anton Vladimirovich Schipulin (Russian Антон Владимирович Шипулин; born August 21, 1987 in Tyumen, Russian SFSR, USSR ) is a Russian biathlete.

Anton Schipulin drew attention to himself in the 2007/ 08 season at the Junior World Championships and European Junior Championship with his good performances and medal winnings. Due to these achievements he was inducted into the Russian A-team of the 2008/2009 season and made his debut on January 10, 2009 in Oberhof World Cup. In the Biathlon European Championships in Ufa Schipulin won two bronze medals, first in the sprint and at the end of the competitions with the relay in the cast Vitaly Norizyn, Schipulin, Schreider and Vasiliev. In individual he missed a medal because of two shooting errors in the final standing stage and finished fourth. In 2010, Anton Schipulin at the Olympic Winter Games in Vancouver and won the bronze medal in the relay. In his single starts he got to the 30th place in Sprint, 20th place in the pursuit and 36th in singles. In mass start Schipulin was ranked 22

The starting for Slovakia Olympic champion Anastasiya Kuzmina is Schipulins sister.
