Antonia Göransson

Antonia Pia Anna Göransson ( born September 16, 1990 in Stockholm ) is a Swedish football player who currently plays for the first FFC Turbine Potsdam. At Potsdam it plays in attack, in the national team as an attacking midfielder.

Career

Clubs

Göransson began her soccer career at Sjöbo IF. From there she moved to the junior level of LDB FC Malmö. Since she could not prevail there, she moved in summer 2008 to league rivals Kristianstad DFF. Here debuted the junior national team in the Damallsvenskan and came to three brief appearances as, substitute. In the following two years, she became a team regular, scoring 25 goals in 35 league games. On 24 August 2010 she moved to Hamburger SV in the German Women's Bundesliga. In the 2010/11 season they finished in fourth place with the best ever placement of the club's history. By season's end her contract ran out and Göransson worked for three years until 1 FFC Turbine Potsdam. In 2012 she won the German championship with turbine.

National

Göransson was with the U-19 national European silver medalist at the European Championships in 2009 and participated in the U -20 World Cup 2010 in Germany part. So they caught the attention of A- coach Thomas Dennerby, the first time she called into the squad of the national team in March 2010. However, the 4-0 win over Wales with goals from Nilla Fischer, Linnea Liljegärd, Anna Paulson and Jessica Landström they did not play. On 26 October 2010 she came in a 3-1 against Norway to its first use. For the 2011 World Cup is the youngest player of the Swedish squad also nominated. In the final group game, they came on in the 65th minute. The win against the United States met their team as group winners in the quarterfinals to Australia and won 3-1. With the reverse result the semi-finals against Japan ended, in which she appeared as a substitute in the 75th minute, the game also could be no more turning. On July 16, 2011, she won with the team the 3rd place match in a 2-1 victory over France.

On 29 February 2012, she scored at the Algarve Cup match against China her first international goal.

In 2012 she came in 15 out of 16 internationals for use and was also in the Swedish squad for the 2012 Olympics., Where they came in three games on short missions.

She stood as the only Bundesliga player in the squad for the European Championship finals in 2013 and came in four games until retirement in the semifinal used. Only against Italy, it was not used.
