Antonio Rüdiger (* March 3, 1993 in Berlin ) is a German football player. His father is from Germany and his mother from Sierra Leone. He is the brother of Sahr Senesie.

Association

Rüdiger played among others for Neuköllner clubs VfB Sperber Neukölln, Berlin and SV Tasmania Neuköllnerstrasse sports fans in 1907. He joined the youth in 2008 from Hertha Zehlendorf to Borussia Dortmund.

In the spring of 2011, he joined the VfB Stuttgart, although he was not automatically eligible to play because of this change for half a year. On July 23, 2011 Round 1 of the 2011/12 season Rüdiger for VfB Stuttgart II was still as U-19 players in the 3rd professional league against Arminia Bielefeld his professional debut.

Antonio Rüdiger debuted on 29 January 2012 at the home game between VfB Stuttgart and Borussia Moenchengladbach in the Bundesliga. In this game, he was employed as before in the 3rd league for violations of his teammates at right-back, although his actual position is central defender. On October 4, 2012 Rüdiger graduated in the Europa League Matchday 2 of the group stage in 2012/13 against Molde FK in his first international competitive game at club level. After the departure of Maza during the winter break Rüdiger was regularly used in the course of the second half of the 2012/13 season in central defense Stuttgart Bundesliga team when the two parental central defender Georg Niedermeier Meier and Serdar Taşçı were injured or disabled. On April 19, 2013 Antonio Rüdiger extended his contract with VfB Stuttgart ahead of the end of June 2017.

His first Bundesliga goal scored Ruediger on September 1, 2013 in a 6-2 home win in Stuttgart against TSG Hoffenheim.

National

In a four - nation tournament in Israel Rüdiger scored for the German U-18 national team on 17 December 2010 in the final against the USA in the final minute free-kick the decisive goal to make it 2-1.

For the German U-19 national team Rüdiger already debuted on 31 May 2011 against Hungary in qualifying for the U-19 European Championship in 2011, although he was eligible to play at this time for the U -18. In total, he completed 13 U-19 internationals. On 27 May 2012, he scored his first goal in the U-19 jersey against Romania when he scored the 1-0 lead in the 87th minute. The game ended 1-1.

For the U-20 National Team of Germany Rüdiger was on 9 September 2012, compared Poland for the first time in use.
