Arlind Ajeti ( born September 25, 1993, Basel ) is a Swiss footballer of Kosovar descent, which is used in defense. He plays for FC Basel in the Swiss Axpo Super League.
Club career
The emerged from their own youth players received 2 January 2011 at FC Basel his first professional contract with two and a half years of validity until 30 June 2013. His league debut was 28 August 2011 in a 2-1 win against FC Thun in St. Jakob-Park in Basel, when he came on in the 69th minute for the ailing Radoslav Kováč. Ajeti made his debut in the Swiss U- 17 national team in a friendly match between Switzerland and Sweden on 4 March 2010 in Bergholz Stadium in Wil. Since February 2013 Ajeti is an official squad member of the Swiss U- 21 team. He made his debut on 6 February in the Estadio El Madrigal, Villarreal, in the 0-1 defeat against the Slovak selection.
