Artsyz Raion
Rajon Arzys (Ukrainian Арцизький район / rayon Arzyskyj; Russian Арцизский район / Arziski raion, Romanian Raionul Arciz ) is a raion ( administrative district) in the Odessa, in southern Ukraine. The center is the city of Rajons Arzys.
The Rajon created in 1967 as part of the Odessa Oblast in the Soviet Union, he is since 1991 part of today's Ukraine.
It is bordered to the north by Rajon Tarutyne, in the northeast on the Rajon Sarata, on the southeast by the Rajon Tatarbunary, to the south by Rajon Kilija, in the southwest for a short distance to the Izmail Raion and to the west by Rajon Bolhrad.
