Assesse is a municipality in the province of Namur in the Walloon region of Belgium.

It consists of the districts Assesse, Courrière, Crupet, Florée, Maillen, Sart -Bernard and Sorinne -la- Longue.

Attractions

In the district of Crupet the grotto in honor of Saint Anthony of Padua. It was opened on 12 July 1903. There are 22 statues that represent scenes from the life of Saint Anthony in her.
