Baybay City is a Filipino town (Component City ) in the province of Leyte.

Geography

Baybay has an area of ​​460.50 km ². The city is located on the west coast of the province of Leyte. History

Baybay has been raised by the ratification of Republic Act No. 9389 in a referendum on 16 June 2007 by a city (municipality ) to a provinzangehörigem city (Component City). Baybay is thus the third city in the province of Leyte.

Population structure and development
