History

The first mention of Betzenweiler probably already 817 when it came as " Perahtramnilvillare " in the possession of the monastery of St. Gall. A documentary mention of Betzenweiler were not available until 1275th local lords were the counts of Grüningen -Landau. In 1340 it passed to the Counts of Württemberg.
