Bocka
Bocka is a municipality in the district of Greiz in Thuringia. It is located about nine kilometers northwest of Weida and is a member of the administrative community Münchenbernsdorf.
Geography
Adjacent communities are Harth- Pöllnitz, Hundshaupten, the city Münchenbernsdorf and Zedlitz.
The municipality consists of the town Bocka documents Großbocka and Kleinbocka.
Attractions
A few hundred meters south of the local situation of Kleinbocka, immediately adjacent to the B 2 O rises a tower, a transmitter building of the former GDR.
History
Großbocka was born on September 24, 1267 first mentioned in documents, Kleinbocka in 1351st
Bocka 1565 was affected by witch hunts. A man was caught in a witch trial.
