Burlington is a town in Middlesex County in the northeast of the state of Massachusetts.

The earliest settlement Burlington dated to the year 1641. From this period dates back to about the Francis Wyman House, whose construction dates back to the year 1666. On February 28, 1799 Burlington is officially confirmed.

Between 1955 and 1965, the city is booming with the construction of the Massachusetts Route 128, the number of inhabitants, which amounts to less than 4000 before the construction, increased five-fold to 1970.

Today, located in Burlington offices of well-known IT companies such as Oracle, SAP, SunGard, Avid and a development center of Sun Microsystems.
