Calauan, Laguna

Calauan is a Philippine municipality in the province of Laguna.

The name of the town derives from the expression kalawang from, which means rust. Calauan is known for its Pineapple Festival, which takes place every May. Access to Hidden Valley Springs - While Resort, a resort with hot springs located in the neighboring Alaminos, the resort is located but within the limits of Calauan.

In the village there is a campus of the Polytechnic University of the Philippines.
