Calle Ridderwall

Carl " Calle " Ridder Wall (born 28 May 1988 in Stockholm ) is a Swedish professional ice hockey player who is since 2013 when HC Lev Prague in the Kontinental Hockey League contract. His uncle Rolf was a famous ice hockey goaltender, his cousin Stefan is also a professional ice hockey goaltender. With Billie Blomberg another cousin Ridder Walls is active as a professional hockey player.

Career

Calle Ridder Wall took in the second city selection from Stockholm in the years 2003 and 2004 in part at the national tournament TV swaddling. His hockey career began in 2004 at the U- 18 Hammarby IF, where he took part in this game year also inter alia on three games of junior teams in the J20 SuperElit.

In 2005 he went to the United States to the Chicago Chill in the Mid Atlantic Hockey League ( MEAL ), but he left after one year. After a season in the United States Hockey League with the Tri -City Storm Ridder Wall went to the University of Notre Dame and played the next four years in the National Collegiate Athletic Association.

For the 2011/12 season Ridder Wall began his professional career with the Boston Bruins, but was sent to the tryouts to the Providence Bruins in the American Hockey League, went after just one season back to Europe and signed a contract with the Düsseldorf EC.

In the last game of the DEL - Main Round Ridder Wall was still the Mannheim Yanick Lehoux overtake and was charged with 22 goals and 36 assists, leading scorer in the league. This eventually earned him a nomination in the extended squad of Sweden for the Ice Hockey World Championships, had in him but also attack the desire for a new challenge, which he seems to have found in the Russian KHL when HC Lev Prague. He therefore signed a contract for the HC Lev Prague for the KHL season 2013/2014.
