Cameron Brown (triathlete)

Cameron Brown ( born June 20, 1972 in Auckland ) is a triathlete from New Zealand.

Career

In 1987 Brown in Devonport in his first triathlon. He scored in 1992 at the Triathlon World Junior Championships in Canada, where he finished second, and together with Paul Amey and Bryan Rhodes won the world title in the team standings his first international success.

He was declared in New Zealand "Sportsman of the Year" in 2001. 2001 and again in 2005, Brown vice-champion at the Ironman in Hawaii, where she won the bronze medal twice. A further highlight was winning the 2006 Ironman Germany Frankfurt am Main.

In March 2011 he managed to win the same Ironman triathlete as the first ten times. He could up to now ten times the Ironman New Zealand in his home decide for themselves - with a break in 2006 when he landed in second place, as the race due to weather conditions without the swim course had to be discharged as a duathlon. His compatriot Joanna Lawn parallel could win in the women seven times.

He is married to Jenny Brown.
