Canoeing at the 2012 Summer Olympics – Men's C-1 200 metres

The Canoe Competition in One - Canadians 200 meters of the men at the 2012 Olympics in London was held on 10 and 11 August 2012 at the Dorney Lake. 25 athletes participated.

The competition over 200 meters is new to the Olympic program and replaces the Canadian race over 500 meters. On August 10, four heats were started. The respective first six starters qualified for the semifinals. The others dropped out.

In the semifinals, the first two athletes in each case and the two fastest qualified in 3rd place for the final A. The slowest boat in 3rd place, the boats on the squares 4 and 5, as well as the fastest place on 6 qualified for the Final B, with which the courts have determined 9 to 16. The athletes on the courts 7 and 8 and the two slower starters on the 6th retired from.

The directly qualified athletes in the heats are bright green, the in light blue over time skilled. Qualified for the final A starter are light green, which appear in light blue over time skilled. The starters that are qualified for the final B are highlighted in orange.
