Cântico da Liberdade

Cántico da Liberdade, since 1996, the national anthem of the Republic of Cape Verde. Before that Cape Verde had the same national anthem as Guinea- Bissau ( Esta é a Nossa Patria Bem Amada ). The melody was by Adalberto Higino Tavares Silva ( b. 1961 ) composes; the Portuguese text written Amilcar Spencer Lopes ( b. 1948 ).
