CatDog
CatDog is an American animated series of 66 episodes that were sent from October 1998 to July 2004 on Nickelodeon. The series was based on an idea by Peter Hannan. The main character CatDog consists of the composite grown on the hull front parts of the dog and the cat Dog Cat.
Content
The stories that are told in the films, draw their energy from the contradictory character of the two: Dog is optimistic and not very intelligent, while Cat is much more intelligent but also more pessimistic. Main opponents of the two are the Greasers, a three-member gang of dogs. Your boss is Cliff ( Clifford ), the other two members are the stupid dog Lube ( Ignatius Lubowitsch ) and the bitch Shriek.
Furthermore, one can consider the mouse Winslow as opponents, as they regularly harassed by sneaky tricks Cat. But how Shriek he spared Dog.

Production and publication
The series first aired from October 4, 1998 by Nickelodeon in the U.S. and ran there until 24 July 2004.
The German premiere of most of the series took place from 25 September 1999 to 31 December 2000 by RTL. In Switzerland, a majority of the episodes ran even before its premiere in Germany in the Nickelodeon program block on SF 2
From November 26 2001 to 22 August 2003, the series was broadcast on Super RTL. For first broadcast of NICK (since 31 March 2010 Nickelodeon ) moved the series there and aired from September 12, 2005 to December 14, 2008 there. Since 1 December 2007, the pay- TV channel Nicktoons radiates ( formerly: Nick Premium) regularly in the program.
