Nicktoons (United States)
Nicktoons is a group of channels owned by Viacom, the station in the United States, the United Kölnigreich, in the Netherlands and in Germany has ( since 31 March 2010). She is a sister channel of Nickelodeon.
History
United States
As Nicktoons TV he went on 1 May 2002 for the first time on the air. 2003, the station was in Nicktoons, Nicktoons Network renamed in 2005. Reason for the recent renaming is the international reorientation of the Nickelodeon family of channels by Viacom. The station broadcasts its program around the clock in SD and HD. Similar to the Disney Channel sister channel Toon Disney and the program is structured in Nicktoons and also at Boomerang is similar.
Germany
The already existing in Germany since the end of 2007 Pay- TV channel Nick premium bears since March 31, 2010 also nicktoons the name. In contrast to all other Nicktoons channels the program of the German transmitter consists of both cartoons and animation as well as from live action series. United Kingdom
As Nicktoons TV was on 22 July 2002, the English branch of the U.S. radio station on the air. Unlike the U.S. version, however, Nicktoons UK sends ( The name of the station since August 2004) only by 05:00 bis 02:00 clock clock ( clock to 22:00 Nicktoons, until 02:00 clock teleshopping ). An offshoot of Nicktoons UK was launched on 18 August 2008 under the name Nicktoonsters on a common frequency with Paramount Comedy 2 1, TimeShift version of Paramount Comedy 2 The transmitter was set on 31 July 2009 and 1 August 2009 by Nicktoons Replay, TimeShift version of Nicktoons started. Since the channel with today's Comedy Central Extra 1 you share, Nicktoons Replay sends from 07:00 until 19:00 clock.
Netherlands
On 1 August 2007 launched the Dutch branch of the U.S. radio station, which broadcasts around the clock. Since March 31, 2010 Nicktoons NL uses the new channel group logo.
