Century Child [ sɛntʃəɹi tʃaɪld ] is the fourth album by the Finnish metal band Nightwish. It was released on 24 June 2002 and was the first Nightwish album with Marco Hietala participated as a bassist and as a vocal counterpart to singer Tarja Turunen. Century Child is considered by many people as a concept album, in a way, what it is, according to keyboardist Tuomas Holopainen also.
