Criticism
" Remake [ ... ] that is tailored to his hyperactive, wildly grimacing actor and thereby ultimately just any slapstick comedy feed with." "
" We know this film even before seeing the film. [ ... ] For not a second of this film is somewhat surprising, novel, or even remotely humorous. "
" [ ... ] Shawn Levy's film is selected mediocrity and continues the series that lax family films, with which Altkomiker Steve Martin overhead each calls only in the short term memory not only since last year's house. "
"Steve Martin makes it a lot fun in this film to play the tamer of the gang of children. " Cheaper by the Dozen " is then also a nice family film made , which unfortunately makes too little of its possibilities. If the entire family in the early morning in the kitchen like a well-rehearsed lubricates the bread and break it ski runs then that is hilarious. Why there is no more such scenes? They would have made the strip into a real blockbuster. So it remains only a Schmunzelfilm. "
" The remake does not come close to the original (50). As the title already suggests: the dozen ".
