Colón Department (Honduras)

Colon is one of the 18 departments in Honduras ( Central America) and is situated in the north of the country on the Caribbean coast.

The capital of the department is Trujillo. The population Colón consists to a large part of the Garifuna. Besides the beaches on the Caribbean coast there in Colón remarkable national parks.
