Contamine -sur -Arve is a commune in the French department of Haute- Savoie department in the Rhône-Alpes region.

Geography

History

The territory of Contamine -sur -Arve was already inhabited in Roman times. The first written mention of the village was carried out in 1119 under the name Condominium ( in the sense of co-managed property).
