Copán Department

Copan is one of 18 departments in Honduras ( Central America) and is situated in the west of the country.

The capital city of Copan, Santa Rosa de Copán. In the department of Copán is located with the Mayan ruins Copan one of the most important pre-Columbian archaeological sites in the country.
