Diessenhofen is a municipality in the district of Frauenfeld in the canton of Thurgau in Switzerland.

Geography

The town of Diessenhofen lies on the south bank of the Rhine between Stein am Rhein and Schaffhausen and shows itself in its original medieval structure, which is preserved to this day. At the pier, the Geisslibach flows into the Rhine.

History

Attractions

Monastery of St. Katharinental
