Dömitz-Malliß

In office Doemitz - Malliß six municipalities and the city Doemitz were united as the official residence to perform their administrative business. The Office is located in the southwest of the district Ludwigslust - Parchim in Mecklenburg -Vorpommern and is bordered to the west and south by the states of Lower Saxony and Brandenburg.

The Office was formed on 13 June 2004 from the former offices Doemitz and Malliß. The community Gorlosen came here to the Official Grabow country.

Doemitz is one of the two Mecklenburg towns located on the river Elbe. From here, the Müritz- Elde waterway connects the Elbe with the Müritz and the upper Havel.

The Office Doemitz - Malliß maintains since 2001 a partnership with the Gmina Białogard (municipality Belgard ) in Polish West Pomeranian Voivodeship.
