Drahkov

Drahkov ( German Drachkau ) is a municipality with 127 inhabitants in the Czech Republic. It is located six kilometers south-west of Blovice and belongs to Okres Plzeň -jih. The land area is 440 ha

Geography

The place is located in 440 m above sea level. M. brook in the valley of Podhrázský. By Drahkov leads the state road 117 from Blovice to Klatovy. Southwest is the pond Pozorka.

Neighboring towns are Únětice and Chocenický Újezd ​​in the north, Chocenická Lhota, Kotousov and Chocenice in the east, Bzi, Dubiny and Letiny in the south and Libákovice in the West.

History

The first mention of Drahkov place in the year 1379. 1415 can be the festivals Drahkov demonstrate for the first time, which was probably built around 1400 and renewed in 1581.
