Geographical Location
Your village is situated in the region Main- Rhön in the valley of the Franconian Saale about eight kilometers downriver from Bad Kissingen. In your village coming from a southern tributary of the Saale flows Sulzbach ( also your villages Bach) in the Franconian Saale. The historical part of the market lies south of the Saale within a city wall still partially preserved, whereas the newer residential areas extend north of the Saale on a meanders its slope ( " Breet "). According to the official statistics of 2007, there were to social insurance contributions with your village as a workplace 505 people, of whom 246 were working in a manufacturing sector and 169 in other services. Your village has a breakpoint at the Franconian Saale Valley Railway Gemünden am Main to Bad Kissingen. Every hour ( with gaps clock ) run there the Lower Franconia shuttles Erfurt Train to / from Schweinfurt city. Also, in your village keep several bus lines.
