History

The friends of John Giulio Speak and Daniel Schneider in late 2007 decided to organize their own festival, as there is no comparable theaters in the area was at that time, where bands could play that pleased the two. With their own festival they wanted to create a platform that also allows bands from new, experimental music genres to present themselves. In the organization of the first Euro Blast Festival in May 2008, the two friends were able to draw on her experience as a drummer in various bands, with whom they had already played some concerts and self-organized. By the time the two bands from different subgenres invited to their festival, so that on the following festivals bands of different styles were on display. Thus, the until then unknown band TesseracT on the fourth edition of the festival played in May 2009 for the first time outside the UK, even before they had signed a record deal.
