Frank Bello

Frank Bello ( born July 9, 1965 in New York) is an American bassist. He is a member of the thrash metal band Anthrax since 1984.

Biography

Frank Bello grew up as the eldest son of Charlie Benantes sister Rose and Italian-Americans in Rockland County. At the age of twelve he began playing guitar. When he was fourteen, he moved to his uncle Charlie Benante and his mother to Bronx, New York City to go to college there. In addition, he worked as a newspaper boy. Frank was an excellent student and played trombone in the school band. In his spare time he was jamming on the guitar with his only one and a half years older than Uncle Charlie Benante on drums.
