David Ellefson

David Ellefson, Dave Ellefson usually short ( born November 12, 1964 in Jackson, Minnesota ) is an American bassist known and mainly because of his activities in the band Megadeth. He was considered a calming influence and a mediator of the band, as it often came to conflicts and disputes due to the personality of Dave Mustaine.

After a disagreement with Megadeth singer Dave Mustaine ( Megadeth the rights of recordings without his permission resold ), he joined the band reuniting in 2004 no longer with him.

After his departure, he played briefly with Soulfly. He currently operates the former Megadeth drummer Jimmy DeGrasso the band F5. In January 2010 he published together with the former Manowar drummer Rhino CD Kingdom of Evil their newly established melodic metal band Angels of Babylon. On 9 February 2010 he gave up his website his return to Megadeth known.

On January 14, 2014, an EP called Altitudes & Attitude came out that Ellefson has recorded with Frank Bello. The band is also called Altitudes & Attitude and is complemented by Jeff Friedl ( The Beta Machine). Even in 2014, appear a debut album that Booze & Cigarettes to say.
