Gampelen

Gampelen (French champion ) is a municipality in the administrative district in the canton of Bern Seeland in Switzerland.

The long-drawn village has a new railway station on the route Bern- Neuenburg the BLS since 2008. Also in the municipality of Gampelen is the stop Zihlbrücke.

The voter shares of the parties at the national elections of 2011 were: SVP 38.3 %, BDP 19.7 %, SP 14.2 %, EDU 5.8 %, GPS 5.5 %, EPP 4.8 %, FDP 4.5 %, glp 2.3 %, CVP 1.5 %, AL 1.1 %.
