Garigal-Nationalpark

The elongated Garigal National Park is located in Sydney, Australia, and is located about 20 kilometers north of the city center. The National Park extends north along the Middle Harbour Creek to Mona Vale Road and east to the Wakehurst Parkway. The name Garigal goes back to a clan of Guringai, a tribe of Aborigines.

The park offers center -based recreation opportunities in an environment characterized by shrubs and sandstone terrain with views of water and scrub landscapes with waterfalls and historical environment. At the Davidson Park Picnic Area on the north side of Middle Harbour Creek at the Roseville Bridge Picnic can be organized, and there are opportunities for boating, kayaking, canoeing and fishing. There are also boat ramps available. For hiking, cycling and mountain biking and riding the Garigal National Park offers a trail system. Camping is not allowed in this park.

In the park, which winds between suburbs of Sydney live through Australian bandicoots, koalas, wallabies, birds and snakes.
